Associate or Assistant Professional, Castlegar Golf & RV Park
The Facility:
The Castlegar Golf Club is a championship 18 hole, semi-private golf course situated in the heart of the Kootenays, above the Columbia River. Our facilities include a fully stocked Golf Shop, Restaurant, Clubhouse and a 20 Site RV Park. We also offer the following amenities: private lessons, driving range, practice greens, club rentals and power carts. With an excellent practice facility, our full service championship golf course is a “must play” for any Kootenay Rockies golf holiday.
As four time hosts of the BC Men’s Amateur Championship, the Castlegar Golf provides an incredible layout at an exceptional value.
The Position:
The successful candidate must be able to provide the high level of service expected by our members and guests.
Work with Head Pro to ensure that the golf shop, driving range and first tee operations run effectively and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
Work closely with the Junior Club to develop and administer Junior Golf Programming with the guidance of the Director of Golf.
- Assist in the operation of weekly Men’s, Ladies, and Senior Men’s leagues.
- This is a seasonal position starting ASAP and running until October 31, 2024
Qualifications:
Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills (POS, MS Office

Compensation:
Monthly salary in the range of $3000 -$3750 CDN (based on experience)
75% of lesson revenue
