Wine Tasting at Home
Is there anything better than Wine Tasting at Home?  Now that we have made the move to ‘location independent‘ we did a lot of cleaning and packing, including tasting some wines we have but can’t bring with us! We previously blogged about our tasting of the 2005 Osoyoos Larose here, but on this day opened the 2009. Osoyoos Larose has long been one of our favourite red wines.

2009 Osoyoos Larose
The 2009 Osoyoos Larose is a blend consisting of 58% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7%Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. The wine is aged in new and old French Oak barrels after the grapes arrive at the winery and are harvested the same year the wine is produced.

Tasting Osoyoos Larose
Like the 2005, the 2009 Osoyoos Larose did not disappoint! Dark red in colour, it had some spice with blackberry and hints of pepper at the end. This was a good wine, but at $45 per bottle not something you would drink everyday. As we clean out our wines, we wonder what other “treasures” we will find??

We, Jeff & Tara Ciecko of CK Golf write two blogs, one is our 19th Hole Blog where we share personal experiences and the other an Industry Blog where we comment on general business and internet marketing best practices, sales strategies and give golf industry related opinions. We have owned CK Golf  for 9 years and provide marketing, social media and business services to the golf and other industries. As of August 2016 our life and our business will be ‘location independent’. Our 19th Hole Blog is about the places we visit and the things we do. You can also follow our road trip at foodwinetravel.ca/roadtrip. If you have any questions or comments, or happen to be in the same location as us please reach out and contact us anytime.
