We learned a few things while travelling the United States in our car. One of the best tips we got was from a Valet (yes, we use them at most hotels).
Valet Car Tickets
Once you check into a hotel you are usually offered the opportunity to valet or self park you car. We normally use the valet service because it has either been a long drive, self parking is inconvenient, or the valet service is often included in the room charge.
Travel Tip
The one great tip we learned was to take a photo of your valet ticket. We were always worried about losing the ticket and having a challenge retrieving our car. This is particularly true if we are four or five nights in the same place, it’s easy to lose things. Taking the picture on our phone has eliminated those concerns. Remember this when you travel and use a valet service, it may save you some headaches down the road!
Room Keys
So many rooms, so little time! One of biggest challenges has been remembering our room numbers. Luckily, lately, we have also used the picture taking of our room keys! This is our favourite travel tip to date. More to come.
