New Year, New Event
Last year we had the pleasure of bringing Un-Marketing’s Scott Stratten to Vancouver to headline a half day Un-Conference event. For us the event was great to be a part of as we worked with two other terrific entrepreneurs – Cadi Jordan of Jordan Consulting and Marc Smith of Amuse Events – and have since become great friends. Another positive of hosting last year’s event was the number of people that we got to meet at the pre- and post event parties and that we have stayed in touch with over the past year. We had great feedback from the attendees and are ready to do it all again.
How to Make Money
The Un-Marketing conference was about engagement. Now it is time to kick it up a notch. This year’s half day conference is entitled “Social Media Money – How the shirt on your back can be profitable” and features Jason Sadler of iwearyourshirt.com fame. Jason will kick off the afternoon telling his story and sharing insights on how to monetize the social media world. Jason monetizes every social media platform he uses. He has grown his idea from a one person show to a team of 5 shirt wearers and has worked with over 1,000+ companies including Starbucks and Nissan. Jason will share how his use of popular and effective social media outlets, such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Ustream and Flickr, can work for any business.
About the Event
