Our New Website
If you are reading this post you have found your way to our updated website. Please take some time to look around and give us any feedback and suggestions that you have. And absolutely if you see a typo please let us know.

We would like to give a few ‘shout outs’ to those who helped us get this new and shiny site. Stacey our Associate led the project, working with Chronogolf to get the look and feel that we wanted. Thanks Stacey for keeping us on our toes, forcing us to stick to the timeline and for all your work. Stacey worked with the programmers at Chronogolf to get the design and layout that we wanted. Chronogolf is now the host of this website as well as foodwinetravel.ca (which will be getting a refresh soon too). They can work with you to create pretty much any site you want. And Stacey is available as a terrific project manager for any business who does not have the time to take on a new website project all on their own.

The Importance of Mobile
We are always talking about how important an easy to use mobile responsive website is and this is one of the reasons we needed to upgrade our site. Mobile technology is always improving as are website templates that meet the ever growing demand for mobile viewing. While this website is primarily business-to-business and is still viewed 70% of the time on a desktop we wanted to make sure that the 30% of our readers who are viewing on a mobile device also had a good experience. (If you are a golf course operator reading this please note that your mobile viewership is likely 45-50% or higher.) We are trying out a few different mobile options and plugins so if the mobile viewing experience is anything less than stellar please let us know.

Blogs and Newsletters
We are back on to a regular blog and newsletter schedule. We are aiming to send a newsletter full of internet marketing tips and sales strategies weekly like we did last season. If you would like to read any of our past editions please visit our Archive page. If you are not signed up for our weekly news you can do that here. The blogs are back as well (and a new photo set on Flickr) so watch for some new restaurants and wines to be featured soon. And since it is patio season – today anyway – watch for our new summer favorite spots.

We, Jeff & Tara Ciecko of CK Golf write two blogs, one is our 19th Hole Blog where we share personal experiences and the other an Industry Blog where we comment on general business and internet marketing best practices, sales strategies and give golf industry related opinions. We have owned CK Golf  for 9 years and provide marketing, social media and business services to the golf and other industries. Our 19th Hole Blog is about the places we visit and the things we do. When we say that we like or dislike something or have a good or bad experience this is our opinion and the truth as we see it, not something we have been paid for. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact us anytime.
