Tasting Craft Beer in Miami Beach
As I write this blog we are now at 119 days of location independent living and are enjoying some time in Miami 
Beach working in 30 degree weather. In each location we’ve been, we have managed to seek out “happy hour” and have found some great craft beers after work. You can read craft beer tasting in Chicago here and craft beer tasting in Florida here. As you can see in the image, I’m enjoying the craft beer while Tara is enjoying a beverage of other kind!
Game on Sports Bar at the Clevelander
Our favorite happy hour spot in Miami Beach has been the Game on Sports Bar at the Clevelander Hotel. It also is home to an ESPN Sports Lounge for catching the game. It has the best happy hour deals on drinks and food and the Mahi Mahi Tacos are great!
On the bartender’s recommendation I tried the Hop Gun IPA by Funky Buddha Brewery. The brewery is located in Oakland Park, FL just North of Miami. The website says they offer brewery tours and Growler sales, but sadly we won’t make it there on this trip.
The beer has a good mix of hops but with a bit of a malt and caramilk finish. It must be good because we’ve gone to the Clevelander three straight days and I’ve had the Hop Gun all three times.
We’re off to Key West and Key Largo next week and will be searching for a new hang-out and some new, local craft beers to taste! What’s in your glass?
