About the Area – Invermere on the Lake
We had a chance to visit Copper Point Golf Club (full disclosure, Copper Point is a CK Golf Solutions client) a couple of weeks ago during a 10 day road trip through the Okanagan and Kootenays. During our trip in the Kootenays we stayed in Panorama to tie in some relaxation time. You can read that blog here. Located in British Columbia’s beautiful Columbia Valley, Copper Point Golf Club is just minutes from the popular tourist destination town of Invermere on the Lake and 25 minutes from Panorama Mountain Resort.
About Copper Point
There are two courses at Copper Point (The Point and The Ridge). On this day we decided to play The Point Course which was the first one built in 2004. The Point plays to a Par 70 and offers varying yardages between 4,945 and 6,807.
The Copper Point Golf Club Experience
Your first view of the Copper Point course (if you arrive in time for a bite to eat) before your golf game is a fantastic look down the 9th hole from the patio.
It was a great lunch on one of the best golf course patios we’ve ever been on.
After lunch we loaded up and headed to the driving range (Tara had a nice chair to relax in after warming-up).
Next up we were off to play. Copper Point offers stunning views and course conditions.
It was a great day out at Copper Point, mountain views on every hole, wide forgiving fairways and fast greens that rolled true. If you are in the Columbia Valley, it is a must play in our opinion.
