Nk ‘Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course becomes the FIRST course in Western Canada to offer Golfboards!

We first blogged about Golf Boards in June 2014, you can read that blog here about how the GolfBoard won best new product in 2014 and now they have found a home in Western Canada.

Nk ‘Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course is owned and operated by the Osoyoos Indian Band. The golf course expanded from a relaxed nine-hole course to a championship 18-hole course in 2001. They have redesigned the course to include 2 new spectacular holes for 2015.

The blend of natural divide and desert dominated Canyon is the perfect topography for GolfBoards. GolfBoards are an innovative invention for golf. The GolfBoard could change the way golfers experience the game. It is powered by an environmentally friendly lithuim-ion battery and is an easy-to-ride vehicle (so they tell us, we haven’t tried one yet).

Head On

Golfing with a GolfBoard, or ‘GolfBoarding’ as it has been called, might change the golfing experience, without changing the spirit and traditions of the game. Supporters strongly feel the GolfBoard will help bring more interest to golf and as a result increase the number of passionate players in the sport.

Time will tell. What do you think of the Golf Board? Tell us.

We, Jeff & Tara Ciecko of CK Golf Solutions write two blogs, one is our 19th Hole Blog where we share personal experiences and the other a Biz Blog where we comment on business best practices and give golf industry related opinions. Our 19th hole blog is the places we visit and the things we do because we want to. When we say that we like or dislike something or have a good or bad experience this is our opinion and the truth as we see it. We do not get paid for the blogs on our website. We are affiliates of a select few products listed on our resources page. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact us anytime.
