Vancouver Lunch Spots
Yes we eat out a fair bit. And while it looks like on social media that we may always be together, we actually find a separate place to work/ eat most days. Sometimes (and almost always on Fridays) this also involved lunch.  Now that we are back in the big city the options are endless. So this series is a round up of our favourite, unique and very diverse lunch spots in Vancouver.

Tractor – 335 Burrard Street

Back in week one of this series I went to Tractor for the first time and loved it. So I went back. The first time I went to the Tractor on Robson Street. This time the Tractor location on Burrard. I liked the seating area of this Burrand one better, it was lighter, larger and more spaced out. And the food was equally good. This time I had the Kale Salad – Kale, radicchio, borlotti beans, toasted pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, asiago cheese, creamy lemon dressing ($3.50) and Tomato Fennel Soup ($6). There was 4 homemade soups to choose from this day and they all looked delicious. My choices were great again. I’m starting to get into the healthy fast food! And it’s way easier to work in the afternoon if you feed your brain Kale for lunch!

The Winking Judge – 888 Burrard Street

Week 7 I went to a place Tara has been to or would go to for the first time in this blog series. We’ve been to this place before, a couple of years ago, but after strolling down Davie and looking for a lunch spot with no luck I headed up Burrard to see what I could find. A short couple of blocks later I came upon The Winking Judge Pub and thought I would give it a go (again). I had the Chicken Club sandwich ($15.95) minus the tomato of course. The bread was fresh and the chicken moist which I enjoyed. However the bacon was really under cooked (raw) which I do not like. I’d give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn’t go out my way to come back here. Compared to some of our other Friday lunch finds this wasn’t great value for the money either.
