Caesar’s Palace Casino
Each time we visit Las Vegas (this was my 6th trip and Jeff’s 8th) we spend a whole day walking the strip and the casinos checking out what is new to us, where we want to go back to and where we want to eat. On our first day we found the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at the back of the Caesar’s main casino, checked out the menu and decided to come back the next day for lunch. According to the website “The 290 seat restaurant is the most authentic English pub experience in Las Vegas, as only a native UK chef can provide.”

Once you are in Caesar’s the pub is hard to miss. The decor on the pub side includes TVs showing sporting events and leather comfy chairs. There is a large bar with close to 100 beer options with 36 on tap. The staff was dressed in very cool punk inspired boots, jeans and chains and were all very friendly.

The menu features pub food elevated to a high Gordon Ramsay standard. The glassware and silverware were impressive and the burlap style napkins were very cool.

Jeff ordered a ham and cheese melt ($14) unlike the one you would typically expect at home. The ham was a boiled thick piece not shaved deli and the cheese was more of a creamy sauce laid on thick and broiled to perfection. Delicious! The English chips were pretty good too.

My Mac & Cheese ($12) was creamy and delicious with a hint of truffle on top but it was the crispy bottom Brussel sprouts ($9) that I loved! The food is not cheap but it is also not over-priced. We thought it was a good value. You can taste the quality in the ingredients that are used. This was our favorite meal in Las Vegas.

Honorable Mentions
We did dine quite a bit on pizza slices at midnight during our four day Vegas adventure but we did also enjoy a Mexican lunch at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez in New York New York. They made a pretty good classic Margarita and the food was very good. We sat at the bar and the service was a bit slow because the one bartender was also making drinks for the restaurant but we were not in a hurry and the food and drinks were good.
