Dine Out Vancouver 2012
The Dine Out Vancouver Festival is in it’s 10th year and starts tomorrow January 20th. It will continue until February 5th with 228 restaurants participating this year. Menus are available for $18, $28 and $38 for three courses. All of the participating restaurants can be booked and their menus can be viewed through the Dine Out website.

Westward Ho! Public House & Grill Room
Because the University Golf Club is one of our clients we got a sneak peak of the Westward Ho’s three course menu for Dine Out. The menu is fabulous and for only $18 is one of the best values you will get during the festival.

We were able to taste a few of the dishes ahead of time and snapped a few photos. The staff have also taken great care in suggesting some terrific wine pairings with each dish. (Wines are available by the glass, half litre and bottle).

Grilled BC Albacore Tuna with Wild Smoked Salmon, English Cucumber Ceviche and Spanish Saffron Sauce.

Mini Tourtiere Pie with BC Hot House Ragout, Spiced Roma Tomato Sauce and Mini Greens

Oven Roasted Sterling Silver Centre Cut Pork Chop with a Caramelized Cherry Glace. Served with Celery Root Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables.

Crispy Skin Arctic Char on a Bed of Butternut Squash Puree with Duo of Red Pepper and Spinach Sauce. Topped with Mini Greens.

Roasted Free Range Chicken Breast with Cauliflower Puree and Baby Spinach Topped with Red Pepper Salsa and Port Demi-Glace. Served with Seasonal Vegetables.

Triple Chocolate Pâté with Marinated Seasonal Berries and a Chocolate Dipped Meringue Cookie.
