The Lighthouse Brewing Company opened it’s doors in 1998 in the small community of Esquimalt, British Columbia. The brewery in now located in Victoria, British Columbia. It’s first brew was the Race Rocks Ale, if you are a craft beer enthusiast you’ve certainly had this at least one time!

Lighthouse Shipwreck IPA
The Lighthouse Shipwreck IPA is a hoppy beer with a mild hint of fruitiness. Jeff doesn’t generally like fruit flavoured beers but in this one it is mild enough that he didn’t mind it. It has an alcohol content of 6.5% and is pretty refreshing in our opinion. The Shipwreck IPA is easily found on Vancouver Island but a little more difficult to find in the Lower Mainland. It is available in 6 pack cans and bottles if your local liquor or beer stores has it.

If you are a craft beer lover, give it a try, we think you like it!
