Round 2 of the Vancouver City Open wrapped up today, with two players making a strong move and seperating themselves from the field. Bryn Parry fired a bogey free 6 under par 65 to sit at 12 under par for the tournament and to hold the outright lead heading into the final round. Alone in second place and coming off a Canadian Tour victory at the Desjardins Montreal Open presented by Lexus three weeks earlier is Stuart Anderson who fired a 5 under par 66 and sits one back of Parry at 11 under par.

Not an overly long course, Langara proved to be a very difficult challenge for all the players. The putting surfaces rolled very fast and the undulation of the greens made being on the correct side of the hole important on the approach shots. The players who played well, admitted to some defensive putting at times and being patient so as not to get frustrated.
