Last Wednesday we were invited to a media event for ‘Stack the Rack’ an event coming up on October 3rd in support of Qmunity. The media day was presented by Amuse Consulting (good friend Marc Smith) and VanCity.

Everyone knows that we love events involving food and wine but this one is extra special because it involves wines from Marquis Wine Cellars (one of our favourite shops) and food from Top Chef Canada winner Dale Mackay in his Thurlow Street restaurant ‘ensemble Restaurant and Bar‘. The media event was just a teaser for the main event. We sampled seven wines from Marquis and sampled some of Chef Dale’s tasty treats.

Amuse Consulting and VanCity present the main event  – ‘Stack the Rack’, a benefit for Qmunity – on Monday, October 3rd from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at ensemble Restaurant and Bar. Guest will be treated to a unique wine shopping experience. Drink the wines, taste the marvels of Chef Dale Mackay, listen to the sounds of a special musical guest and shop for that must have wine for your next gathering. Marquis Wine Cellars staff will be on site to help you choose, take your order and provide delivery of your purchases.
