NHL Playoff Predictions Round 2 – update May 30, 2022
Round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs gave us some pretty good hockey, especially if you like the intensity of Game 7’s (there were a total of 5 of them).
Not a bad round 1 of NHL Playoff Predictions for me as I went 8 for 8. Anyone else? How will I do in Round 2?
Hard times (again) for the Toronto Maple Leafs being eliminated in the first round, but elation for the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames to engage in the Battle of Alberta! Can’t wait for that one and it guarantees on team advances to the third round!
Here we are, onto round 2 and here are my predictions (guesses really). Leave a comment, feel free to disagree or agree and if you like even describe what you are binge watching on Netflix between games!
Western Conference
Edmonton Oilers at Calgary Flames – Edmonton in 6 – Oilers win series 4 – 1
St. Louis at Colorado Avalanche – Colorado in 5 – Avalanche win series 4 – 2
Eastern Conference
Tampa Bay Lightening at Florida Panthers – Tampa Bay in 7 – Lightening win series 4 – 0
New York Rangers at Carolina Hurricanes – Carolina in 6 – Rangers win series 4 – 3
I’ll update each series as they progress and see how how I’m doing. Leave a comment with you picks or thoughts on mine.
