NHL Playoffs 
We continue to travel a lot including Australia and New Zealand as well as in the U.S. (our current location is Las Vegas) so I haven’t watched as much hockey as I would have liked. However, regardless of the team you cheer for (mine is Vancouver – not in the playoffs) it is a great time to be a hockey fan. And as we head back to Canada I plan to watch a whole lot more.
My team for the playoffs is now the Winnipeg Jets. It’s Stanley Cup Playoff time!
Below are my first round predictions for the 2019 NHL Playoffs:
Western Conference
Nashville Predators vs. Dallas Stars – Nashville in 5 games
Winnipeg Jets vs. St. Louis Blues – Winnipeg in 5 games
Calgary Flames vs. Colorado Avalanche – Calgary in 6 games
San Jose Sharks vs. Las Vegas Golden Knights – Las Vegas in 7 games
Eastern Conference
Tampa Bay Lightening vs. Columbus Blue Jackets – Tampa Bay in 5 games
Boston Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs – Boston in 7 games
Washington Capitals vs. Carolina Hurricanes – Washington in 4 games
New York Islanders vs. Pittsburgh Penguins – Pittsburgh in 5 games
