What is Dropbox?
Dropbox is a file hosting service based in San Francisco, CA that offers a cloud based storage system. In our terms it allows us to share large client files especially if they are too large for email. This also includes a large photos that we can put into a Dropbox folder to share with anyone we choose.
Dropbox does allow you to share folders or single files with multiple people at the same time, provided you have their email addresses. It is very easy and quick to share information via email and a one click link.

Well, the first 2GB are free anyway! But if you need more space you can increase your storage room for a monthly fee or by referring other people to use the service.
Dropbox App
Dropbox also has a free App that is available for iPhone, Android, iPad, Blackberry and Kindle Fire. This allows you to easily access shared folders, documents and pictures while on the road from a smart device. You can download the app here. Dropbox has saved us lots of time and made sharing with our clients much more convenient (no more disks, sticks, etc). We also use it to share photos with family and friends. But the biggest plus is being able to share working documents between ourselves, our own various devices and other team members so that we can all work on the same file and keep it up to date.
